[ Presenting plain-text part of multi-format email ] About Baghdad documents an exiled Iraqi poet's return to Baghdad along with a group of other academics and artists to see what has become of this illustrious city after wars, sanctions, decades of oppression and violence. Sinan Antoon, the poet, takes us on a journey exploring what Iraqis think and feel about the post-war situation and the complex relationship between the US and Iraq. This group documents their travels on film as they expose the victimization of a generation of Iraqis. About Baghdad is produced by INCOUNTER PRODUCTIONS, a group of independent activists, academics, and artists. The artists of About Baghdad hope to develop a successful documentary which will allow them to contribute to the aid of Iraqi people in helping them to help themselves.
