Dear All. Firstly my apologies for not having moderated the list properly in the last week, due to a number of distractions. This allowed a number of messages from Darin to go through to the list (he resubscribed under a new name, which has now been removed). Most of Darin's messages, however, have Not been sent via the list; rather, he has sent them directly to individuals, albeit as blind carbon copy, so this may not be immediately obvious. Unfortunately, emails not sent via the list are beyond our control. It is probably best policy not to reply to these messages, and indeed not to discuss Darin on the list, unless absolutely necessary - it would only encourage him. As regards dealing with Darin, we are currently liaising with a US police force about his harassing messages, they in fact contacted us and seem sympathetic and helpful. If you continue to receive harassing messages or even personal threats, you may wish to likewise contact your police force. If you do so, please send us the details of any police contact to info@casi.org.uk, then we will try to ensure that if several police forces are investigating, they are aware of each other. Anai Rhodes is also liaising with police, so it might be sensible to forward any offending messages to her as well. best wishes, Nicholas -- Nicholas Martin CASI Lists Manager - lists-manager@casi.org.uk _______________________________________________ Sent via the discussion list of the Campaign Against Sanctions on Iraq.
