The former head of Iraq's nuclear program Khidhir Hamza will be Live Online on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. (EST) to talk about "Sadaam Hussein's nuclear ambitions". http://discuss.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/zforum/00/hamza1114.htm Taking a Look at Iraq With Khidhir Hamza Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000; 1 p.m. EST Khidhir Hamza, the former head of the Iraqi nuclear program, will be live online on Tuesday, November 14, 2000 at 1 pm EST. The author of a new book, "Sadaam's Bombmaker," Hamza will answer questions about Iraq's the history and future of Iraq's effort to obtain a nuclear arsenal. Hamza obtained degrees in science and nuclear physics at Massaschussetts Institute of Technology and Florida State University. He returned to work in Iraq in 1970. In 1985 he became an advisor to Iraq's atomic energy commission and in 1987 became the head of the country's nuclear weapons program. He left Iraq in 1995. He currently lives in Washington, D.C. where he works as a consultant.
