* Several independent sources report that the U.S./UK proposals, as put forth in UK draft Security Council Resolutions (see http://www.cam.ac.uk/societies/casi/info/scdeb0105a06.html) and reported in the press, have been withdrawn for the foreseeable future. * It seems that there will be a standard 180 day "oil-for-food" renewal in early December (4 December appears to be the date). * Reportedly it is unlikely that there will be any proposal surprises.
