[casi] Iraq: Proposal For Change, by Ghassan Salamé (Middle East Economic Survey, 17 Nov 2003)

Dear list members,

Ghassan Salamé (Professor of International Relations at the Institut d' Etudes Politiques in Paris
and former Senior Political Adviser to the UN Special Representative in Iraq, Sergio Vieira de
Mello, and Lebanon's Minister of Culture) spoke earlier in the month at a high-profile conference
in London. His remarks have been published by the Middle East Economic Survey at
http://www.mees.com/postedarticles/oped/a46n46d02.htm

I draw them to your attention as I think that his analysis is sober, balanced and insightful.

Best,

Colin Rowat
