An invasion that would begin with "shock and awe." You supported a war which a UN report suggested would displace hundreds of thousands and many more would be forced further into malnutrition and even starvation. Yet you continued your support for the war. As the airports and mosques are vandalized by US troops you continue to spread your brand of reality. As the death toll of civilian Iraqi's rise, you continue to support the occupation. As the country's assets are being split by US corporations to the long term detriment of the people of Iraq you continue your support of the US/uk military machine. If there is shame to be spread about, you belong first in line. Roger Stroope Northern Arizona University Flagstaff USA ~Just 10% of our military budget spent yearly on the United States could give every high school graduate a college education for four years. ~The proposed $48 billion increase in military spending for next year (2004) is bigger than the total military budget of any other country on earth. _______________________________________________ Sent via the discussion list of the Campaign Against Sanctions on Iraq.
