I have often wondered about this as well.  On the one hand, there is nothing illegal about any of 
the things we are engaged in, on the other, "them" knowing about upcoming events might enable them 
to disrupt some efforts ie. marches, mtgs, etc.  As to the query posed, I have no idea whether it 
is a valid concern or not.  Bueller?
