Re: [casi] GMO thread vs.(?) URGENT DATA

Dear Colleagues,

I don't know about GMO, but what I feel is tragically missing  on CASI or a
huge chance to safe "their" lives and "ours" is the near silence of the outbreak
of cholera which has every potential of going out of control with the inevitable
ratcheting up of violence after the resulting dy off  of Iraqi kids due to
US/Brit incompetence, callousness, revenge(?).

CASI featured  wonderful materials forecasting the health impact of war,
BEFORE the most recent full scale slaughter commenced against . But am I wrong?
Now that WHO hit the prediction with  stunning accuracy of when S. Iraq was
being depleted entirely of chlorine, right on schedule (allowing for incubation)
and the reporting of the vital tip of the iceberg: the  the official  68
confirmed cases of cholera, CASI and the rest of even the progressive movement
seems to be pretty silent. I hope I'm wrong, and people can immediately supply
urls in response to this email.

I urgently request collaboration with anyone else following up on
surveillance .  Given the recent estimate that chlorine get zeroed out in C. and
N. Iraq in a couple of weeks, the number of reported cases, etc. what is is
upper, lower bound and most like extent of mortality, incidence, prevalence and
duration?

Also I was able to track the chlorine from Georgia (US) to Turkey [43 metric
tons, I think] paid for as part of the $5670M response to the RFP from USAID to
Bechtel. But does anyone know how much if any has reached the water treatment
sites.

The built in pretexts would be funny except that cholera, etc. death is
especially horrific. We are to believe that "unrest" makes it too tough to
transport a few truck a few tens of miles, e.g., from the toy country just south
of Basra? That suggestion  is the biggest insult to the US/UK in history...

The other cooked up deniability gimmick is "looting" which is absurd since as
an ex-criminologist and person of IQ of at least room temperature (centigrade),
I know that people don't loot stuff which is

1) unusable w/o training, equipment, etc.
2) unsellable
3) damned dangerous without equipment, training -- see frequent stories of under
trained, equipped workers including in the UK.
