Dear N.Martin,

if that is your opinion on international law, then ALL the government
officials of ALL the countries in the world should be arrested, because they
can be held responsible for 1.800.000 dead Iraqi civilians because they
agreed on the sanctions imposed on Iraq. The government of my country
(Belgium) should be arrested immediately and held responsible for the
war-crimes committed by US/UK pirates, because they allowed US troops
transports and weapon transports over their territory.
If you agree on the fact that the US/UK invasion is illegal, then the
conclusion must be that imprisoning the leaders of Iraq, illegally invaded,
is also an illegal act. And so they should be released immediately.
Furthermore it is for the Iraqi people to decide who is governing them,
without interference of US/UK conquistadores. This is a principle in
international law, called  the right to self-determination.
