[casi] DU in Afghanistan and Iraq and a journey to Kirkuk

[ Presenting plain-text part of multi-format email ]

Dear Everybody
I am sending the following article by Dr Miraki because these same weapons have been used on Iraq.
Also I feel that there are so many parallels between Afghanistan and Iraq at the moment and if CASI
is in a state of transition maybe we should widen the agenda to occasionally include reports from
both countries. What do you think??

I am travelling from the UK to Kirkuk on June 16th with an ambulance full of medication and a few
companions including an Iraqi originally from Kirkuk. Hope we don't get the same treatment as
yabasta!! Anyway I should be sending back reports. If there are any messages you want to send or
questions you would like me to ask, please be in touch.

love Jo
