Dear Roger and all, I think there is nowhere to escape. In Indries Shah' book "The Way of the Sufi," he quotes Abu Said: "Being a Sufi is to put away what is in your head--imagined truth, preconceptions, conditioning--and to face what may happen to you." I thought of this quote because I think the best thing we at CASI can do is to face what has happened in Iraq and in our own governments and to try our best to do something about it. The most recent poll I saw concerning Iraq showed that US citizens believe that finding WMD's is important, that the BUSHEES likely manipulated information, and are nevertheless going to put George the Lesser back into the whitehouse. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good country to move to?
