RE: [casi] Iraq- is the fix in?

This is a conspiracy theory too far. Remember the thousands of sorties flown
against the Iraqi army in the north by the USAF and the USN? These are crap
at winning hearts and minds but just great at killing conventional troops in
static defensive positions.

I know that us lefties tend to spend a lot of time banging on about the
smart bombs that miss, but most of them hit. Because of that, the yanks get
about the same amount of explosives on target in a day that it took a month
to deliver in WW2. No conspiracy is necessary to explain what happened.

It took the Kurds two days- TWO DAYS - to capture Kirkuk and Mosel from
the
Iraqi army.

Simply not possible unless a secret US deal was cut with Hussein to
stand
down.
