Not only Al Jazeera was targeted, but one of the US tanks which was at the west end of Al Jumhuriya Bridge in Baghdad this morning targeted Abu Dhabi Channel's office with machine gun fire and later with a shell.... Half an hour ago, US planes attacked Palestine Hotel, where all the journalists are stationed and where they sleep, wounding tow journalists reportedly from Reuters. Arab stations are wondering why only Arabs are targeted, and whether the US is frustrated that the battles are being shown live without its censorship or control... The comparison to blowing up Al Jazeera's office in Kabul comes to mind.. Immediately after the attack on the hotel, Iraq's Minister of Information was there talking to the reporters and saying that the US tanks inside Baghdad have been attacked from the rear cutting thewir retreat line... Are the Americans going to bring freedom to Iraq this way, when they don't allow freedom of expression? Who knows! HZ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
