[casi] United Nations-I wonder....

[ Presenting plain-text part of multi-format email ]

I was wondering of those of you with UN contacts and background;

Why did the UN respond to the illegal "fence cutting" in the DMZ by
withdrawing observers from the Iraq side?

Why is the UN withdrawing the UNMOVIC team in the face of one of its members
waging an illegal war?

I love that the UN does so much good work in the world. Are they (KOFI)
caving in, in order to maintain their humanitarian work?

Is this the lesser of evils? (i refute this notion)

Is their any chance that the United Nations will condemn the US, launch an
inquiry, call for sanctions against the US? etc.?
