Dear All,

During the main evening news, 7.30 pm on Thursday 13 March 2003, the drinking water situation in
Iraq in 1991 was mentioned with a few words by Professor Tom Nagy. The time of the programme later
that night was given.

The subsequent section on Iraq lasted only eight minutes. It was mainly about the Pentagon paper,
an interview with Tom Nagy. A water expert from the Zürich University warned what a new war could
do. Another expert from the Zürich University warned that water systems could again be targets in
renewed war.

I think the programme had great value to emphasize again what the impact of broken and polluted
water systems can be for millions of people.

Kind regards
Margarita Skinner
