The Saudis have agreed the use of the Prince Sultan airbase for the launch of air attacks against Iraq. So long as no public announcement is made, the the US can use AWACS surveillance aircraft and combat fighters at the multi million pound base built in 2001. General Richard Myers,Chairman of the Joint chiefs of Staff has secured the deal with the Saudis.
