[casi] ANTI -war resolution

[ Presenting plain-text part of multi-format email ]

Tonight the student assembly of Austin College in Sherman Texas became the
second college in Texas, and one of many around the USA, to pass an antiwar
resolution (SAR 1).
Although it was not the exact resolution that I had written, it still came
out against the war, UN or no! The portions relating to sanctions were
removed.
Add Austin College to the long list of countries, states, city councils,
universities, and individuals who oppose violence as a means to conflict
resolution!

"the road is long, the challenge is immense, but we must not despair for the
consequences of failure are far too great"

Roger Stroope
Treat others not as you wish to, but as they wish to be...
