Re: [casi] dodgy dossier

Hi all,

On Dan's point about writing as CASI, I should perhaps clarify: we do of
course consider members of this list to be part of CASI, and you're very
welcome to sign off letters etc as 'Member, Campaign Against Sanctions on
Iraq', as you would with Voices or CND or Amnesty etc. What we want to
avoid is the impression that these are official statements by CASI, which
clearly we need to discuss and approve as a committee!

Also, Glen's dossier revelation was handled without using CASI's name
because he did it in his capacity as an Iraq analyst, specifically as an
expert on weapons inspections, and thus it had nothing to do with CASI.
Other than its being posted on this list, of course!

Hope that makes sense.

Best wishes,
Jonathan
