There are lots of rumours floating around about timing. Some indicate some "warning" action this week. Others talk about Mid Feb (14th Feb is most quoted). Others talk about the Military not being ready until Mid March. Still further rumours float around about a "rolling start" in Mid Feb with the US providing further support during Feb/March. I don't think a final decision has been made about timing. It looks like the US has declared support from the UK, Australia, Spain, Italy, Solvenia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Czech republic regardless of whether or not there is a new UN resolution. There are supposed to be 12 nations. If anyone can post the whole list I would appreciate it. Hungary may be saying it supports the Franco/German line, but is hosting American troops at the moment. It is, of course, still possible that the US will move away from a mass invasion. I believe there is a debate on Wednesday in the UK House of Commons about humanitarian issues relating to Iraq. _______________________________________________ Sent via the discussion list of the Campaign Against Sanctions on Iraq.
