Re: [casi] Iraq Accepts New UN Resolution on Arms Inspections

Dear List,

Having been away I am still working through mail, so have only just found
this somewhat patronising note from Yasser, who is clealy new to Philippa
Winkler, who far from new to Iraqi politics, co-edited what is still one of
the finest and most perceptive books on the effects of the Gulf war on Iraq.
'Hidden Casualties - The Environmetal and Political Consequences of the
Persian Gulf War' (ARC books/Earthscan UK) isbn 1 85383 164 6. Astonishing
for someone so knowledgeable this extraordinarily comprehensive volume has
been missed,in current circumstanes, more relevant then ever.

Best, felicity a.
