Graduate School Scholarship Program an Opportunity for Kurdish Students in
US

The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans

Eligibility: Graduate student who (1) is a resident alien; i.e., holds a
Green
Card (2) has been naturalized as a U.S. citizen or (3) is the child of
two parents who are both naturalized citizens.
(open to seniors in college and 1st and 2nd year graduate students.)

Each year (max of 2yrs) selected Fellows receive a maintenance grant
of $20,000 (paid in two installments) and a tuition grant of one-half
the tuition cost of the U.S. graduate program attended by the Fellow.

Deadline for application is Nov 30, 2002.
