[casi] Emergency Lobby Day - Sept 30th

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30: Emergency Lobby Day
Come to Washington, D.C. on Monday, September 30 for an
Emergency Lobby Day to undermine Congressional support
for a war resolution from President Bush. We will provide
training and Congressional packets for you and when you
register, we will assist in scheduling meetings.

A war resolution will probably be introduced within the
NEXT TWO WEEKS, and will be voted on before Congress is
set to adjourn on October 4. With this vote timed close
to the November 5 elections, Representatives may feel
extreme pressure to approve a resolution in the interest
of appearing patriotic. Meanwhile, real politics get
pushed into the background. People of Iraq should not
suffer at the whims of U.S. electoral politics. This
needless war can be stopped. But your Members of Congress
NEED to hear from you!
