US defence officials say tanks and helicopters are being sent to Jordan and an undisclosed Red Sea port are part of a broader transfer of military equipment from Europe to other parts of the globe. Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld says they are for a US military exercise in Jordan called "Infinite Moonlight".
