The irony of Sweeney is that he wrote an excellent book 'Trading With the Enemy: Britain's Arming of Iraq' in which he showed continuing British and US support for Iraq despite Halabja. In contrast, his Correspondent programme made no mention of this and painted the US and Britain as the saviours of the Kurds.
