Dear everyone, This is a message admitting that as list manager I am temporarily throwing my hands up in defeat. The list will go onto moderation - all messages will need explicitly approving by me - until Monday. The list clearly cannot continue to function without clarification of acceptable content, and I cannot do this without consulting the CASI committee. I am too busy to keep firefighting; therefore until Monday all messages that are in the slightest bit controversial will be rejected! I will post a (crystal clear) revision of list rules at the beginning of next week.
