We invite you to an open meeting held in conjunction with
The Center of Near and Middle Eastern Studies

We will be discussing how to campaign, organize and raise awareness on a
variety of issues related to the economic sanctions on Iraq and the
situation in Palestine..  We'll share our experience and information.  We'll
talk about the tools and strategies available to us, about how to empower
ourselves and others, about how to become active.

We are not powerless.

There is always something to do, no matter how small.

Speakers from:
Act Together:  Women Against Sanctions And War On Iraq
Women In Black
Palestine Solidarity Campaign
Voices In the Wilderness (UK)

Followed by a general discussion.  There will be translation to and from
Arabic if this is required.
