[casi] Oil

Hi all,

I am new to this list and have been reading the recent postings online with
interest. Being of Iraqi origin, and as a humanitarian, I thank CASI for its
clear and focussed aim of relieving the suffering of the innocents.

The 'West' and double standards are no new couple. Each thrives in one
another. Decisions about who is a 'man of peace' and who is an 'axis of
evil' are decided over morning coffee in central Washington. As Deputy Prime
Minister Tareq Aziz said, the US and Zionism are "two faces of the same
coin". The best way to fight American double standards is to use the oil
weapon. The other countries in the region need to follow Iraq's lead, as
Saddam Hussein said quite rightly, "oil is not a tank, a jet fighter or a
cannon, but it can be used as a weapon, when the muzzles of the cannons,
tanks and jet fighters are not working, or are not meant to be used..."

Best Regards,
