Dear Salwa & all CASI people, Sorry, but I have to agree with Felicity re. the lengthy, and somewhat unwieldy, articles. In my view, and I speak as one un-highpowered, who prefers to keep things uncomplicated, the sheer volume of words takes away the desire to actually want to read on. May I suggest that a resum'e or (horrible phrase!) 'condensed' version of, at the very most, a tenth of the original piece be shown, then those interested can simply click on the URL underneath. - Are you going to shoot me down in flames? - By the way, the words of 'The Star Spangled Banner', well, what can one say...thought-provoking! Greetings, Bert Gedin, Birmingham, U.K. >From: "Salwa de Vree" <sdevree@email.com> >To: "farbuthnot" <asceptic@freenetname.co.uk>, >soc-casi-discuss@lists.cam.ac.uk >Subject: sentences & paragraphs >Date: Mon, 07 Jan 2002 18:48:12 +0200 > > >Dear Felicity, and other CASI members, > >Yes you are absolutely right about lack of paragraphs and sentences.
