Re: shady stats article



 Hi again. My apologies for sending out the shady stats piece with such an
insufficient intro and vague question. Too little sleep.
Some folks have emailed me asking what I am about:)
I should like to know how independent from government manipulation the
stats on infant mortality are? i am firmly convinced that the sanctions are
a huge mistake and I see the ridiculous nature of most of this article esp.
regarding Iraqi gas prices in light of the now worthless dinar etc. I am
still uncomfortable with the stats and would just like to know a bit more
the process so that when folks ask such questions I can offer a clear
answer. Sorry if this info is readily available on the site and I am
overlooking it.
