Launch of new WWW site - Women Living Under Muslim Laws

13th June 2001

Dear Friends,

Women Living Under Muslim Laws (WLUML) is pleased to announce the launch of
its
updated and revised WWW site at:

        www.wluml.org

WLUML is an international Network that provides information, solidarity and
support for all women whose lives are shaped, conditioned or governed by
laws and customs said to derive from Islam.

The Network aims to increase the autonomy of women by supporting the local
struggles of women from within Muslim countries and communities and linking
them with feminist and progressive groups at large; facilitating
interaction, exchanges and contacts and providing information as well as a
channel of communication.

Please send us your comments and feedback on the site.

Regards,

Women Living Under Muslim Laws International Solidarity Network
