Can I ask a question?
> It is my understanding that Yemen was subject to severe economic "punishment" for failing to support the policy of the U.S.A in 1990/1991 when Iraq invaded Kuwait. I also understand that Jordan took a similiar line. If that is so, was Jordan subject to similiar economic punishment? If not, why not? Can it be thatwe in the West regarded King Hussein as a civilized man? I.e. he was responsible for the slaughter of thousands of Palestinians in 1970? > > regards > > Kieran > |
