Laurence Aboukhater of Melbourne wrote:  "The Australian Government, whilst
feeling concern for the welfare of Iraqis lays the blame squarely on Saddam
Hussein. I'm sure Sue will have something to say on this also. The AAC has
recently received responses to a letter campaign to all Parliamentarians. The
responses from the Governing liberal party were in support of sanctions.
Labor seems to be in support of some change but this is while they are the
opposition. The Demorats support change. We have an election looming so stay
tuned. Thats as long as China doesn't bite our heads off !!! "
