No Foreign Office change of policy

Colin Brown the Political Correspondent of the Independent on Sunday
reported yesterday (18 February), 'The Foreign Office quietly but
significantly changed its policy last week to allow more medicines into
Iraq, fearing that it was losing the propaganda war.' (page 1)

I rang the Iraq Desk at the Foreign Office on Monday 4pm and they hadn't
heard of any such change.

Mr Brown was not available when I called the IOS.
