Change of policy or just blunder?

British ministers clearly don't have a very good grasp of the political
and legal situation in Iraq. Either that, or we've just seen a remarkable
change of British policy with regard to Iraq.

This was Mrs "Lady" Symons, Minister of State at the Foreign Office, in
the House of Lords today:

"Those sanctions could stop tomorrow if Saddam allowed the inspectorate
back into Iraq."

Errr - ever heard of SCR 1284? 120 days??
