Dear Yasir There are so many papers relating to the effects of malnutrition on chronic disease and congenital malformations in the scientific literature. Some even relate to other 'war' and post-war situations eg. Dutch famine of 1944-1945. Other clinical and epidemeological date may be found in the British journal of nutrition and also in journals like diabetologia, blood, and quite a lot of journals relating to Ischeamic heart disease. Sorry , cancers are not part of my interst so I cant help there. Moreover, the more genetics based journals like Development might help on congenital defects but they are too scientific, so mainly focus on clinical journals for your cause. They usually have all the association data etc. If I come up with a few papers, Ill let you know. Regards M.Moukayed ----- Original Message ----- From: Y.B.
