Why don't the anti-sanctions MPs point out that: a) Iraq has no direct control over the OFF funds b) The fact that the programme is being massively delayed by US /UK holds on vital goods. The arguement that the sanctions are hurting the people, and the response that Iraq is responsible for spending the money on palaces/whisk(e)y/cigarettes/elephants etc. has been going around in circles for years. Why doesn't someone put Hain on the spot with these irrefutable facts, surely they must be aware of them? S. __________________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
