A mainstream journalist with whom I've struck up an e-mail friendship just received her visa for Iraq (late April timeframe). The journalist's favorite spot on earth is Petra, Jordan, and she was touched by an interview with Felicity Arbrothnot in which Ms. Arbrothnot describes a visit to Hatra, Iraq, and an encounter with a proud, aging archaeologist. Does anyone have contact information for Ms. Arbrothnot? The journalist would like to reach her, and if someone could please forward the info to me (privately, not posted*) I'd appreciate it. Additionally, if anyone has other contact and travel ideas, please forward these as well. This journalist has traveled extensively in the Middle East, but never to Iraq. Keep in mind that her itinerary options may be limited, as an Iraqi government 'minder' will be in tow, throughout.
