US, Britain attack southern Iraq sites
Iraq,Military 10/11/99

The US Central Command said today that US and British jets attacked "three 
Iraqi military radar sites and an Iraqi military communications site near Al 
Kut and An Nasiriyah" in the southern Iraq "no-fly zone." It added that the 
strikes came "in response to recent incidents of Iraqi anti-aircraft 
artillery fire directed at coalition aircraft
