Next Tuesday, UK political satirist Mark Thomas is broadcasting a TV show on Iraqi sanctions, and the contradictory advice from the Department of Trade and from Customs on the legality of exporting a teddy bear. In the first show in the current series, the Burmese ambassador was presented with a parcel of tripe, and UK foreign secretary Robin Cook was embarrassed over government links with Premier Oil, which invests in Burma. Since I don't have a telly or read a daily paper, I don't know what time and channel the program is on, and the infuriating Mark Thomas web page does not highlight the information.
