I was speaking with one of the BBC News Night staff this afternoon as it is likely that Denis Halliday will be interviewed on News Night this evening, in conjunction (I understand) with a film being shown. They had hoped to be able to speak with von Sponeck, who had agreed in principle to the interview, but were unable to guarantee a line out of Baghdad. I have been unable to ascertain exactly what the contents or timing are of the evening's programme.
