This is not an Iraq posting, but one I felt a few people might be interested in. Paul Abbey The Prime Minister and the Chancellor have told Comic Relief (a UK charity...) that if they can prove that enough people want to cancel the debt owed by Third World Countries, they will act to stop the suffering by pressing for debt cancellation through the G8 group of countries. In response Comic Relief have set up a Freefone number to build up an electronic petition. You just call the number and leave your name, address and postcode when prompted by the answerphone message. It takes you about 90 seconds. The Freecall number is 0800 55 66 96. Feel free to pass this on to anyone you know who might be interested. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a discussion list run by the Campaign Against Sanctions on Iraq.
