Pilger's important documentary about the  sanctions on Iraq: the crucial and, at least in

12 JULY, NORTHAMPTON: WAR, IMPERIALISM & FUNDAMENTALISM. Talk by

13 JULY, LONDON: IRAQ OCCUPATION FOCUS MEETING WITH GUEST SPEAKER SAMI RAMADANI. 7.15pm. Conference

London WC1 (Warren St and Goodge St tubes). The meeting will begin with Sami Ramadani's 
presentation, followed by questions and discussion. We will then move on to planning and

17 JULY, LONDON: PROTEST AGAINST CLUSTER BOMBS. Handicap International will be building a pyramid 
of shoes in Trafalgar Square to highlight their campaign against cluster bombs. Bring a shoe to add 
to the pile, each shoe will symbolise the lives and limbs lost to these evil weapons. From 12pm.

children had been killed or injured by cluster bombs and other unexploded ordnance since the 'end' 
of the war (see
